Welcome to the Pack 129 website! Cub Scout Pack 129 is the oldest continuously running Pack in the city of Alexandria having been chartered in March of 1942 by Westminster Presbyterian Church. If you want more information on our Pack, use the 'Contact Us' link on the left.

Cub Scouting is open to boys in grades 1 - 5.  Boys can join at any time.  Click on Join Scouting on the left menu for more information.

Pack meeting, Friday, May 11, 6:30 pm at the Pit

Join the Pack for an exciting Pack meeting at the Pit this Friday, May 11 at 6:30 pm. We will be joined by a very special guest from the Wounded Warrior Project. And, since the state ban on fires has been lifted, we will once again be able to have a campfire.

Scouts Deserve Trained Leaders

Congratulations to two of Pack 129's leaders who recently completed the first of two weekend sessions of the Wood Badge for the 21st Century. Enrique Gutierrez and Marie Johnston joined 54 other Scouters from the National Capital Area Council for Scouting's premier adult training course. If you are interested in attending Wood Badge or would like to know more, please contact the Pack Trainer, Pete Patacsil. Pack 129 continues to be committed to having the best trained leaders for our scouts.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation

NCAC is offering two opportunities for Cub Scout leaders to attend Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO). BSA policy requires at least one leader with BALOO training on all Cub Scout Pack campouts.

Spring Pack Family Camping - Low Water Bridge Campground Shenandoah River

Bring the whole family to our spring Pack Family Campout, April 20 - 22 at Low Water Bridge Campground on the Shenandoah. Come for all three days or just come for part of the weekend. See the calendar event for all the details.

Rescheduled Community Bike Rally, Saturday, April 14, Noon - 4pm

This is our previously rained out community service project. Plan to attend!

Spokes, Trails4Youth Safe Route to School, Burke & Herbert will Return and with our Pack's and additional support from Troop 129 will deliver a great Bike Safety and Bike Fun Afternoon -

Tigers in charge of concession and and funds raised and donations will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Program -

Great event for the Community and for Pack as a Service Effort -

And Dens should look to tie in their Specific rank requirements - ie. Bears - Ride it Right - or for individual Scouts to work through their Cycling Belt Loop.
