Hello Pack 129 -
Reminder that we have a Pack Meeting this Friday Night - Flags at 6:30 Sharp - in Fellowship Hall at Westminster Presbyterian - Enter directly into Fellowship Hall - the door nearest the Westminster White Bus. All the normal Meeting items with Flags, Be a Good Scout talk, Awards/Recognition and some Leader performed Skits to amuse the ranks.
Couple big items specific to this meeting will be:
1) Distribution of Pop Corn the Scouts sold for them in turn to pass out.
2) Distribution of the Scouts Pinewood Derby Car Kits for them to work on over the Christmas break. Blow the dust off the wind tunnels, test tracks and high speed engineering in your basements.
Den Leaders may already have requested but also a reminder for Dens to coordinate bringing some Cookies -

This month's Pack meeting will be this Friday at the Pit. Remember, it will be dark by the start of the meeting, so everyone should bring a flashlight, proper clothing for the weather, and plenty of enthusiasm! Also, remind all your kids that running is not allowed after dark. As always, donations of cookies and treats for the end of the meeting is appreciated.

Thank you Pack 129! When I put out the call that we were about $100 behind last years sales, the response was so great that we not only beat last year's sales, but beat them by a large margin! Sales totaled $4,663, which earned the Pack $1,613! The popcorn that's been ordered will arrive on December 3! Stay tuned for more information.

Leaders and committee members, Pow Wow is an annual supplimental training event that can greatly enhance your skills as a Cub Scout leader. It will be held this year on November 19. Spend a day with leaders from throughout the area who are in the same situation as you. Share ideas and learn from leaders who have gone before you. Click here for more information or to sign up.

Outdoor fall cleaning: WPC grounds, 8:00 a.m. – noon this Saturday. Come when you can and stay as long as you can – we'll be pruning, raking, trimming, and mulching. Some tools will be available, but bringing your own will help. Help save the substantial cost of hiring a landscaping contractor to perform these needed tasks.

Den 4 Pathfinders will meet at 9:15 AM tomorrow at the parking lot behind the synagogue on Kenwood (between Valley and Crestwood).
